Research grants for foreigners

on Portuguese Culture

 

Applications for scholarships to foreign scholars who whish to do research in Portugal for a Ph.D. or for the publication of a book on Portuguese Culture issues.

Applications may be submitted from 1st February until the 31st March.

Only online applications will be considered.

Before initiating the fulfilling process the candidate is recommended to:
 

• read the regulation attentively;
• fill in the form,
• validate the information and submit it online;

The application will only be concluded when all the requested documents have been submitted through MyFile. The candidate will have to login to the MyFile function and attach all the documents, in format PDF or JPG (maximum size 2MB). 

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will not be responsible for any difficulties the candidate may have during this process. To prevent last minute problems it is suggested that the candidate submits the application as early as possible. 

The applicant should keep the registration number that will be sent by email.
